While living in India and Nepal, Andy Weber studied under masters of Tibetan Buddhist iconographic art. Twenty-five years later, Tibetan Buddhist practitioners and Lamas of all traditions throughout the world highly regard his unique style of authentic images. His work has appeared internationally in Buddhist publications and numerous exhibitions including Potala Palace in Tibet, the former residence of the Dalai Lamas.

On March 27, Andy Weber came to the Mahasukha Center to share his vast knowledge with our Los Angeles community.  It would be difficult to recap the exact content of Andy’s transmission that evening, but while it seems his audience came in with a variety of expectations about the presentation, everyone left feeling blown away by the depth of knowledge and insight Andy possesses as a master and teacher.

And it appears some of the admiration was mutual.  Andy’s experience at the Mahasukha Center was a  good one, and in subsequent talks with Mahasukha teachers he has discussed returning to the center for an ongoing series of talks.  Stay tuned for more information on that, and in the meantime click here to watch video of Andy Weber’s teaching at Mahasukha, and please visit his website for more incredible artwork.
